Your child’s attendance is very important to us here at Welsh House Farm Community School and Resource Base.

This page is to keep you updated with current information regarding attendance and to provide you with some useful links.

Each week we will display the attendance for each class.

​

Our school attendance is linked directly to the DfE and they monitor it to see how we are supporting families to enable their child to attend school regularly.

​

This will mean that if your child’s attendance falls below expected levels, our attendance lead Wendy Sartain will be contacting you to see how we can support you to help your child’s attendance improve. This is called Support First. There is a link below that explains the process.

Term time leave is only granted in exceptional circumstances and can only be agreed by Mrs Jay. If you have to take your child out of school during term time, you must complete a form requesting the leave. The office have these forms for you. Please be aware if the leave is denied the local authority will issue penalty fines. This starts at £80 per parent, per child. However, if the fine isn’t paid on time it will increase and can mean you may be taken to court.
