Welsh House Farm is a one-form entry community school with a nursery class and Resource Base for Cognition and Learning. We serve a diverse community and are incredibly proud of our children, and of our staff, who work hard to serve our children and the local community.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent KS2 teaching assistant to join the hard working and committed staff at Welsh House Farm. We are looking for someone who is a good role model, has experience of working directly with children or young people in a primary school setting and is firmly committed to inclusion.

Teaching Assistants are highly valued in our school and have a key role in supporting access to the curriculum and enabling all pupils to achieve and succeed. We are looking for someone who has experience of working in KS2 with a good knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and in particular the SATs process.

All of our teaching assistants must be willing to work in any year group, including the Resource and Foundation Stage. It is our policy to allow staff the opportunity to work throughout the school and to provide staff with ongoing training opportunities.

Informal visits to the school are encouraged.
